Morgan has coped with Epilepsy throughout her life, but leans on her faith throughout the struggle. Her journey has been a means of learning and developing strength. She has never allowed her condition to excuse her from participating in activities of various types. Some hobbies include singing, dancing, acting, arts and crafts, jewelry-making, and archery. One of Morgan’s proudest moments came when she earned her black belt in PaSaRyu (South Korean Martial Arts) under the direction of Master Darren Yancey. She even went on to earn her second-degree black belt at Darren’s new School after their headmaster, Kang Rhee, retired and the main school closed. She would also help teach in their children's classes before beginning training under Darren with the adults. Morgan has always had tremendous compassion and is very giving. This includes a deep love for children. Having learned CPR and First Aid, she is currently working with disabled children in a daycare setting, and is also learning American Sign Language on the side so that no person, especially a child, will feel as though they don't have a voice when they want to speak with and / or to her. She also devotes time to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.
For Christmas one year, Morgan and friends dressed as Disney Princesses and did a project with the children, signed each child’s personal project as the characters they portrayed.
Morgan’s talent for creative writing has led her to bring this book to life. Her hope is that those of all backgrounds will find value in her book. It is meant for anyone willing to read it. Please enjoy your journey with her
